Family Fun Day at Marsh Farm Animal Adventure Park. The Farm partially re-opened on Saturday 4th July.

Today we visited Marsh Farm. We arrived at 10.45 am and left at 3.30 pm. We had an incredible day; you can take a look at my highlights on Instagram. On arrival you are given a wrist band, it a good idea to write a contact number on your child’s one just in case they wander off.
Teepee Village & Crazy Golf
We started with Teepee Village. Everything was so bright, colourful and floral- we loved it! We grabbed our clubs and balls from admissions and headed onto Crazy Golf. Avery hasn’t quite grasped the concept yet as he still puts the ball in the hole with his hands after one attempt of whacking it in; however, we will always have a go.
Adventure Play Park (11 am – 4 pm)
We then enjoyed the Play Area, which has a different apparatus for all ages. Here you will find slides, swings, roundabouts, spinning swings, climbing forts, springy animals, and so much more! Avery loved it. I managed to lure Avery away for some lunch. Otherwise, we would have stayed there all day.
Restaurant (10 am – 4 pm) & Indoor Soft Play Barn
We decided to enjoy lunch at the Restaurant. They currently offer a takeaway service; however, you can eat in or outdoors. Avery had the Chicken Goujons & Chips, and I went for the Lincolnshire Sausage & Onion Baguette. This is also where the Indoor Soft play Barn is, unfortunately, due to COVID, this was closed. However, it looked fantastic; it had tunnels, slides, nets, and even a toddler area.
Animals & Woodland Walk
After lunch, we went to see the animals- which Avery loves. He was particularly phased by the alpacas today. There is plenty to see, Llama, Highland Cows, Kune Kune pigs, Goats, Ponies, Ducks, Geese and even cute Giant Rabbits. And don’t miss the Koi Carp and the piglets in the Animal Shed. There is simply so much.
Giant Play Towers (11 am – 4 pm)
We then set our eyes on the giant play frame. This was fantastic. I thought the adventure playground, in the beginning, was everything, not knowing there was more. We spent well over an hour and a half here. Avery did not hear we needed to go home at all. He enjoyed himself and challenged himself too. You could tell all the children had fun and some adults too actually, lol! We also stopped at Tractor Town; unfortunately, there were no tractors; however, Avery still enjoyed imaginary play around the Tractor Town depot.
Sandpit
Finally, on our way out, we stopped and enjoyed the sandpit. I need to get the boys a bucket and spade actually- this is the third time we have visited a sandpit empty-handed. Avery loves sand; I guess its default wash day today then. Levi was intrigued by the texture and trying to work it all out.
All in all, we had an incredible day. Guys you don’t want to miss the Bubble ‘n Bop Children’s Festival during summer. We also enjoyed some strawberry and blackberries from The Farm Shop.
