May Half-Term Activities for Kids in London and Kent 2023

Are you looking for exciting events to fill up your calendar for the THREE May Bank Holidays (Early May Bank Holiday 01 May, Bank holiday for the coronation of King Charles III 08 May and Spring Bank Holiday 29 May) and May half-term school holidays (29 May – 02 June) in and around London and Kent? Look no further because I have compiled a list of over 50 locations and 100+ FREE and paid events that cater to everyone’s budget.

From May Day celebrations at Kent Life and Hever Castle to coronation celebrations in Covent Garden, you are spoilt for choice. Visit WWT in London for a book reading with Rachel Lawston or enjoy a family concert at Wigmore Hall. There is something for everyone.

If you’re looking for animal-related events, visit the London Zoo or Whipsnade Zoo for fun activities like Top Trumps or the Spring Family Festival. And if your little one’s love music, take them to the Baby Broadway Family Concerts, where they can sing along to their favourite songs.

Art and design enthusiasts will enjoy exploring the V&A’s special events, such as Design Baby sensory sessions. You can also take part in the Families Storytelling Caribbean Tales workshop.

For food lovers, head over to Syon Park for the Foodies Festival or Wimbledon Park for Pub in the Park. If you’re feeling active, head to Brockwell Park for Brockwell Bounce or Riverside Terrace for The Marvellous Myth Hunter Ceilidh.

Take advantage of attending these exciting events in London and Kent during the May Bank Holidays and May half-term school holidays.
